On November 4, Cindy McGill, Lisa Matschek and myself taught an Equipping, >Mobilization and Training (EMT) school in San Francisco. We had wonderful leadership help from Streams class graduates, Burning Man coworkers and friends wanting more. We capped off the training with an exciting field trip to practice in the fields of Haight Asbury and the Castro district of misplaced love. Prayer and tears in the streets mixed with the blatant panhandling for drug and alchol money and tourists oblivious to heaven and hell hanging in the balance. Where we live.

It's the 40 year anniversary of the free love movement (Summer of Love 1967?). In October, the Apostolic Council of Elders ( Chuck Pierce, Cindy Jacobs, Jim Goll and others) prophesied there would be a great movement in the love of Christ in the San francisco area. Many homosexuals will be turned to the love of Christ. An apostle John spirit of love is coming to the area. They further declared heaven's ache that we will learn to love the lost without condemnation.

As a child of the 60-70's upheaval it was important for me to go to the epicenter to so much that affected me and my generation. Even now as I write, I happened to put on Richie Haven's version of Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower".

There are are many here among us who think that life is but a joke. But you and I have been through that and this is not our fate... God is serious. God is releasing his Fathering and Mothering (1John) to fix what is broken relationally. God goes to where they live.

"Zaccahaeus...I must stay at YOUR house". Find the person of peace and hang there.

From the watchtower we say that the false love came and ran it's generation - 40 years. God in his wisdom has save the true best wine for last. A relational loving community is being released into the streets. The void demands an answer.

This must be said too. The Beatles sang "Love is all you need" Agreed but what quality is this love? Jesus and his apostles and disciples didn't just exhibit a soulish sympathy. Eternity in the hearts is not a oulish yearning that can be filled without spirit. Eternity in the hearts is a DNA default cry for an extra dimensional God that exists outside the boundaries of natural man. When carrying a community spirit of the Father it must be not in the wisdom of men's words but in the demonstration of the SPIRIT and POWER. Evangelistic or church community without doing the stuff will not stem the flow to the new age and wiccan. They do both community and power in a counterfeit. The Word and Spirit must prevail and grow in understanding in our communities of love. We have the real thing. Don't leave home without it is the motto of the "Master" Card.

The Summer of Love is coming. Give us strong hearted leaders, Lord.

Please pray for our fathering pastoral friends in San Francisco. Leroy and Leversie Johnson and Dan and Bonnie Selman live in pastor and live in ground zero there.

Thanks for your prayers and financial support of Destiny Workshops. Katie and I are en route to a conference in Kelowna BC. A time to connect with friends and hear from God. We are planning to stay home for the remainder of the year. Pray for the clarity we need for 2007. There will be great changes for us.
