Sundance outreach 2007
THANK YOU for all of your prayers. this year's event was, again, incredible and was accompanied with salvations, prophetic prayer for very lost, dark people, and favor with venues for permission to come in out of the cold to film and minister to people.
our main place was a wine tasting lounge. people just hanging around and very interested in the project, which in turn made them interested in hearing from a Spiritual side, which opened them up to prayer, which gave them to taste the REAL WINE and see that the Lord is good. VERY IMPACTING FOR THOSE WHO WERE TOUCHED.
the stories are too many to list, but personally, one of my favorite encounters was a woman trapped in a gay lifestyle. As the Lord showed us her heart the way He made her, the kind words melted the stone wall around her heart. then I could clearly see three generations back when her maternal grandmother opened the door to her now admitted "hatred of men". I was able to share with her that she was being given the opportunity to make a choice to have her Maker remove hate and fear from her life, informing her that fear has torment. I told her that God is Perfect love and when that Love is present, fear can't stay there anymore. the tears flowed as the wall around her heart was breaking down. then the Lord showed us who He had made her to be. the truthful words went right into her heart and there were other specific words given to her, then she let us pray with her right there in the lounge.
I LOVE THIS STUFF.
God is so wonderful and Jesus certainly went before us. we gave out e-mail addresses to those we felt were divine appointments to give folks a way to keep in touch. some to see if they made it into the documentary and others because of a shared moment of trust. Many producers and directors and film makers, also had the opportunity to share their dream on camera, and were "impressed" when they heard what God was showing us about them and their lives. Many asking "how do you know this". Great question.
there were many encounters with people we feel are for future inroads into this industry.
the team was very connected and functioned as one. this team was much smaller than before, but very effective. the Park City house was a surprise as people came from all over the world to stay a night or two and give the resident team opportunities to minister to them. the "outsiders" were drawn to the anointing. some even finding reasons to come back to the house to "hang out" when there was so much to see and do at Sundance.
again, thank you for your prayers for us and to those who donated financially, we really needed it.
bless ya, cindy
